today was all about putting on the jewelry...just the bumpers, grill and assorted little bits and befor i knew it we had the car altogether...good times... now i just need gary, my windlace/upholstry guy to do his things and we're done..well, a few minor paint touch-up by chris and we're done-for now. i still need to get my new door panels but they're coming in from portland and i have no control over those... should be in by the middle of december... good times...a big thanks for chris (proline collision north van) for picking up the ball after that idiot dana fucked up the paint the first time...chris had to basically fix what dana had screwed up and then do the paint all over again... good job...now i have to track down dana and get my money back and... oh never mind...he's an idiot... also a big thanks to sebastian who had to put up woth a lot of swearing and the odd throwing of things...good job...
then after a fine turkey dinner at the slocan family restaurant with the garberator it was off to play hockey against a bunch of old guys at the britannia hockey arena..i mean old fuckers.. i'm a kid out there. one guy, tony, is 70..no shit...and he's good! no gordie howe but he's the same age... one of the old guys was giving it to me pretty good in front of the goalie...i gave him what he was looking for...trouble. he said "you're a prick"..i said, "you're hilarious...." i told him...
